Presidential Musings for the Week
“Hallelujah”– We are back to a “normal” way of life with the reintroduction of face to face meetings this month. What a way to kick off the proceedings with our club member Ted Baillieu presenting about the ANZACS in a fitting tribute to Remembrance Day on the Thursday (Nov 11th). For me, it will be unusual to be Presidential having been in T shirts and track pants for most zoom meetings! I will be there in all my 3 Dimensional glories! The ability to mute and close off video feeds is gone.

The face to face was our Changeover in July, so I have some presentations to give out to those who missed that meeting. On Nov 16th meeting, I will have the pleasure of inducting Paul Shekleton and Oxana Belyaeva into our club.

Volunteers Required for Letterboxing around Yarra Bank Reserve
We will be letterboxing the area around Yarra Bank Reserve over the weekend commencing Friday November 12th. At least two more volunteers are needed with stout hearts and even stouter walking shoes to letterbox the immediate area. We should be finished within a couple of hours, depending on the weather. If you can help out please add your name to the volunteer roster. Click here to volunteer. You will be made very welcome!
Rotary Foundation Christmas Cakes and Puddings
The fabulous Rotary Christmas Cakes and Puddings will again be available through Glenferrie with special focus on sharing these delicious products with our visitors to the Boroondara Farmers Markets.  Our special Foundation tent will be set up at the three final markets of 2021; 20 November, 04 December and 18 December.

The cakes and puddings make great gifts and are great quality.  So don't miss out: let me know how many you want and I will ensure that your order is received well before Christmas.  In the meantime, you are helping Rotary Do Good in the World.
