Rotary Glenferrie Celebrates 50 Years of Service, Fellowship, and Fun!
Glenferrie Rotarians past and present, along with partners, friends, and supporters, gathered in style at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club on October 22nd to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Glenferrie’s Charter, originally granted on the same date in 1975.
A full house of 130 guests enjoyed an evening filled with memories, laughter, and good cheer — honouring the club’s proud history while looking confidently to the future. For half a century, Rotary Glenferrie has delivered outstanding projects in the service of humanity, and the spirit in the room left no doubt that the next fifty years will be just as bright.
And Don't Forget To Sign up Now for the Club's Next Major Event !
In 2024, the Rotary Club of Glenferrie was officially recognised as a Rotary Peacebuilder Club — embracing, in these challenging times, one of Rotary’s key Areas of Focus: the promotion of peace and conflict resolution.
In partnership with the students of Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak, the club will dedicate a new Peace Pole on the school grounds — a lasting symbol of hope, unity, and understanding.
All members and friends are warmly invited to attend and represent our club at this meaningful ceremony. Together, let’s affirm our shared commitment to peace — in our world, our communities, and within ourselves.
