As I announced at Tuesday night's meeting, members saved a considerable amount of money in 2020 by not having physical meetings at Kooyong due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, the Club's fundraising was affected by the pandemic. So can I suggest that each of members celebrate the Centenary of Rotary in Australia in a practical and meaningful way by become a Centurion and commit to donate just $100.00 (Australian Dollars) to the Rotary Foundation - $1 for each year of Rotary in Australia. Donations are especially needed in these challenging times and you and your donation will make a big difference - all donations over $100.00 to The Rotary Foundation Trust (TRF) qualify the donor as a Centurion. Make the Rotary Foundation your Charity of Choice.

- This is a very easy way of getting into the habit of making a personal contribution to The Rotary Foundation – Our Charity
- All Centurion contributions from Rotarians count towards their Club’s Annual Giving total which will be considerably less than previous years
- 100% of the funds are used for Areas of Focus projects both locally and internationally – no admin fees
- It is picked up as part of the District’s contribution resulting in 50% of the contribution coming back to our District to use as support funds for the programs we want to support
- 50% of your donation comes back to our District in 3 years’ time to support District Grants, Global Grants, Vocation Training Teams, Areas of Focus Scholarships
Remember, your donations fund Rotary projects such the recycled playgrounds funded through a Rotary Foundation Grant and also local projects such as Scholarships.
