Responsive, adaptable, innovative, embracing change.....these words spring to mind following our Zoom meeting last Tuesday evening. Whilst the current limitations on our meetings and some events is disappointing, zoom meetings are one of the ways we can remain connected. It was so pleasing to see members, partners, friends and potential new members embracing this new way of meeting and we welcome your feedback as we look at how we can further exploit and understand the platform to make the experience even better. In spite of COVID-19 and restrictions imposed on the community we continue to do good work. The volunteer group on the bread run roster now consists only of those members in the less vulnerable category - thank you to Don Heath and Liz Andrews for managing this process. We will also continue our work in progressing the Rotary 100 year Project - the Yarra Bank all-abilities playground program. We will be ready to embrace the Farmers Market and our other projects once it is safe to do so. Richard has had more time on his hands than ever before and his tireless work on ClubRunner means we can look forward to greater administrative efficiency, a more professional and informative website and easier access to information relevant to members.
Importantly, our zoom meetings will continue on a fortnightly basis and we have a range of interesting and entertaining speakers lined up. Please do continue to join us. We are all in this together so stay well, offer support for one another and take care.
