Celebrating achievement, recognising service and looking ahead to a new Rotary year, members and guests gathered at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club for the Rotary Club of Glenferrie's 51st Changeover Dinner. The evening combined fellowship, reflection and recognition as the club thanked its outgoing leaders and welcomed a new leadership team for 2026–27. The Dinner was a gala evening for almost 80 Rotarians and guests at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club on 23 June. The event provided a fitting celebration of the club's achievements over the past year, an opportunity to thank the retiring Board, and a warm welcome to the incoming leadership team for 2026–27.
President Helena Wimpole formally inducted incoming President Chris Raw, presenting her with the new Chain of Office, first unveiled at the club's 50th Anniversary Dinner last October.
In her address, President Helena reflected on a year of significant achievement, including the induction of new members, the completion of major projects in Sierra Leone, the delivery of a range of successful local and international service initiatives, and the strengthening of partnerships within the community and across Rotary.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of eight Paul Harris Fellow recognitions, reflecting the club's strong commitment to the ideals of Rotary and the work of The Rotary Foundation.
Incoming President Chris outlined her vision for the year ahead, with a focus on continued membership growth, strong member engagement, and an ongoing commitment to the club's established service projects and community impact.
