🌟 What Sort of Volunteer Opportunities?

Here’s a snapshot of the some of the many varied volunteer opportunities that are open to you as a Friend of Rotary Glenferrie: 

✔ Assist with the Boroondara Farmers Market - set up and pull down as well as staff the two entry gates 

✔ Sort and package donated household goods for clients of RIMERN (Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Network)

✔ Do the regular Bread Run - collect donated fresh bread and deliver to the Salvation Army Camberwell, providing an essential supplement to the Salvo’s meals for those in need

✔ Help single men acquire life changing skills through cooking classes delivering simple and nutritious dishes

✔ Help run a basketball competition for mildly intellectually disabled and otherwise disadvantaged individuals, providing a pathway to sport

✔ Make a difference in the lives of people living in developing countries through projects such the Sumba Eye Care, Sierra Leone School Water Tower and Timor Leste Water Tanks
