RC Melbourne-Environment & Sustainability Luncheon

We are delighted inform you that our 4th Annual Environment & Sustainability luncheon highlighting World Environment Day will be held at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, Latrobe Room, on Wednesday 11 June 2025, at 12:30pm.

Keynote speaker at this event will be Dr Fiona Simon, CEO of the Australian Hydrogen Council on challenges and opportunities in the energy transition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Dr Simon, is widely respected for her service in energy policy and regulation, specialising in energy retail competition and consumer protection matters. 

The event will also feature the announcement and presentation to the winning school in the 2025 Rotary Melbourne Environment Sustainability Award.

Surplus proceeds from the event will be donated to SecondBite, the Melbourne based pioneering organisation devoted to food rescue for charitable distribution, as it celebrates its 20^th year of service.
