Tasma Wischer has kindly let us know through PP John Hudson that Past President John Wischer (1998-99) is comfortable in Hedley Sutton, Camberwell, but is allowed only family as visitors, one at a time. Visitations must be booked. Tasma has told us that John is very frail and has fallen a couple of times recently. Fortunately no damage done. His main problem is Parkinson's, but he also has a relatively less severe dementia problem. John can talk freely but is a little forgetful. PP John Wischer is remembered fondly by many at the club as a good friend and a member of long standing who contributed greatly to the community throughout his active years in Rotary. Our best wishes and thoughts go to John and Tasma and family during this especially difficult time for those in care. |
