RYLA is a week-long Camp for up to 21-year-olds. The program is aimed at focusing on personal growth, leadership development and community. Our candidate Samuel Philp contacted me, and he said he had a wonderful time and had made many new friends. He was very thankful to Rotary for giving him the opportunity to go.

NYSF - National Youth Science Forum
The NYSF Year 12 Program is a 12-day program designed to give students a broader understanding of the diverse study and career options available in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

NYSF DetailsWeek One: 10 TO 13 JANUARY
Participants will join their fellow NYSFers for a digital program packed full of amazing STEM sessions, including specialist lectures from renowned STEM experts, careers days, critical thinking and STEM communication workshops etc.
Week Two: 16 TO 20 JANUARY
Participants will have the chance to meet each other in person, see inside amazing STEM facilities and labs in Melbourne, meet researchers and STEM experts, listen to lectures, and learn what a career in science looks like at an online university expo.
The Year 11 & 12 Rotary Foundation Scholarship Grant for 2022 – 2023
The Scholarship will provide, for two years $1,000 annually, money to a student who is disadvantaged. We are going into the other half of the scholarship in 2023.
At the discretion of the school, the scholarship can be used for textbooks and stationery, uniforms, camps, excursions, computers, Myki tickets, musical instruments, tuition costs, and other course related costs.
The Principal of Swinburne Senior Secondary College has distributed the scholarship to a student he deemed would benefit from it.
