The club welcomed two new members to Rotary at the club meeting May 31st, professional couple Mahroo Parsi and Weranja Ranasinghe. Recently married, Mahroo, was born in Teheran, Iran and Weranja hails from Sri Lanka. Two young people who have already made their mark, Mahroo works in public policy development in the area of Health with the Australian Government. Which is just as well, as Weranja is an outstanding urologist working at Monash Health and is currently establishing his private practice as well.
Mahroo and Weranja, we welcome you warmly to Rotary and the Rotary Club of Glenferrie. We look forward to many years of working along side you to do good in the world.
