The club inducted its first new member this Rotary year, and the first ever on Zoom, when Amelia Anderson became a Rotarian at the club meeting on September 28th. Amelia moved to Hawthorn almost two years ago, and made enquiries via the club's website. Attendance at some club meetings since then, including one at Kooyong - a rare event these days - convinced Amelia to join.

A graduate of the University of Queensland and currently with JCurve Solutions, a digital technology company, Amelia has had considerable experience as an IT professional, in communications and information technology, including a period with Oracle and Hewlett Packard. Her past community service includes four years as President of the Mt Waverley Scout Group where her leadership and achievements contributed greatly to the strength of that Scout Group today.

Welcome to Rotary, Amelia. We are very pleased to be able to count you as a Rotarian and look forward to working alongside you to make a difference in the years to come.
