Join Joanne and Cheryl on the Glenferrie Gallopers Team throughout October and walk, run, ride, swim to End Polio.

It is the time of year to think about getting outside with your family, friends and club members to participate in our Rotary Walk With Us fundraiser. From 1 October through to 31 October, join our Glenferrie Gallopers and walk for End Polio mission.

It is easy to register: just go to the link http://www.rotarywalkwithus.org as an individual and then join our Glenferrie Gallopers. You can record progress in kilometres (link your account to Strava) and donations online and keep generous sponsors updated through the online portal. Note: all donations over $2.50 are tax deductible. And remember, every dollar you raise becomes $3, thanks to matching $2:$1 grants from the Gates Foundation.

End Polio Now tess are available via mail order from RDU Supplies

You can start walking, running, cycling, or swimming at any moment that you wish and send your personal link to your sponsors for donation. When you register, you can make a great Rotary “fashion statement” by purchasing the famous End Polio Now red tee. Attached is a sample sizing chart to assist you in ordering. Get the message out there – you are Walking to End Polio. The unit price of the tee is $25 plus delivery fee, available from RDU Supplies: Click here to order.

And at 10:30 am on Saturday, 11th October let’s all get together, take a group photo in our End Polio Now tees, share our progress and take a walk, run, or stroll beside the Yarra River, supporting Rotary’s number one global project: the eradication of polio in the world.
