Many Glenferrie Rotarians who have been active in Rotary will know Bernie and Marjorie Gerlinger, who were pillars of their club, the Rotary Club of Central Melbourne, and of District 9800 for many years. This month Bernie Gerlinger passed away in Queensland, where he and Marjorie had been living for the past few years. Bernie Gerlinger gained the friendship and earned the respect of all who knew him, for his integrity, generosity, genuine commitment and huge contribution to Rotary and Rotary programs over many years.
