Thanks to the incredible efforts of PP Taplima Muana and President Danial Sama of the Rotary Club of Bo, Sierra Leone, Consultant Engineer Jonathan Bockerie of Njala University in Bo Sierra Leone, and Manager, the Aladura Primary School Buedu Tamba Lahai, work on the VIP toilets at the Aladura Primary School is proceeding apace. Despite supply challenges and the occasional flooding rainstorm, work is right on schedule with the handover of the facilities expected to take place mid-December.
 
The first block to be completed will be the boys toilets, which will also serve the girls via two dedicated cubicles while the girls toilet is under construction
The handover will be a celebration for the parents, children and staff at the Aladura School of the opening of their new toilets, of the power of friendship across international boundaries, and the joyful promise of youth. The opening of the toilets will launch the Aladura Primary School Hygiene Club, and a Rotary sponsored WASH training program for the teachers and students.
