The Salvation Army have not been able to hit the streets, the shops or any other public places for their Annual Red Shield appeal this year. Hence they have turned to a Digital Door Knock to raise funds for the wonderful Community Service work that they do.

Norm Gale from the Camberwell Salvation Army Corps has asked me to publicise this. As you know the Glenferrie Rotary Club is a strong supporter of the charity work of the Salvos with both our weekly Bread Run for their homeless meals every Friday and our provision of Emergency Care packs for those in need. If you normally donate to the Salvos as part of their Red Shield Appeal and haven't been able to do so this year then you may wish to support their Digital Appeal. I encourage you to do so.
