The Rotary Club of Glenferrie will join with the teachers and students at Loreto Mandeville Hall, Toorak on Remembrance Day 2025 to conduct a Peace Ceremony and install a Peace Pole, donated by the club. It is expected that the students will be accompanied by parents and friends, and that local community leaders will also attend. Registration is essential so that names of people attending can be provided to school authorities in advance of the ceremony.

The promotion of peace and conflict resolution, in our world and in our lives, is a primary Area of Focus for Rotary, and has been since Rotary was founded. Peace Poles carry the message of peace - “May Peace Prevail On Earth” - in the languages of the world. They are recognized as the most prominent international symbol and monument dedicated to peace on earth. Peace Poles have been planted on every continent in the globe in over 200,000 communities. The Peace Pole at Loreto Mandeville Hall will be the 482nd installed in Australia since our local project began in 2021.
