Last Tuesday was our first face to face meeting since July. There were many happy, excited double vaxed members and guests attending our club headquarters at Kooyong Tennis Club. What a way to kick off the proceedings with our club member Ted Baillieu presenting about the ANZACS, in a fitting tribute to Remembrance Day on the Thursday (Nov 11th) as well as receiving his Paul Harris Club recognition.
Tomorrow night is an important meeting with the Rotary Foundation Chairperson Murray Verso, presenting in recognition of November being Rotary Foundation night. There will be Paul Harris Society recognition awards presentations, as well as the inductions of new members Paul Shekleton and Oxana Belyaeva into our family club. Please remember to book, since there are no members collecting the money anymore.
AGM - Please note that the AGM is coming up on November 23rd.
100 year Project - Note that the Grand Official Opening of the Yarra Bank Reserve playground is on this coming Sunday Nov 21st. Come along and help make sure that there is a strong showing for Rotary on this, the biggest project for the club in some years. Bring the family along to this fun afternoon, with lots of treats in store for the kids.
Christmas Party – The year is coming to an end, and we need to plan our Christmas celebration. Rod has booked Dec 21st Tuesday night for our event. I will be asking for choir practise for interested members. I would appreciate input to organise this event, please.Glenferrie Times –

Thanks to the journalistic trend and perseverance of Richard Blakeman. This is an independent newspaper for the local patrons and traders within Glenferrie.
Cluster Film Night – Kew RC is working on a cluster film night. The film is “The Duke”. However, this film will now have its public release on 31st March. Hence, the night might be in late February. Details to be announced soon and proceedings to go to the Rotary Foundation.
