Dear Members,
Changeover night on 16 June 2020 will have some differences this year. Your invitation has been emailed through Clubrunner (thanks Richard and Cheryl for making this happen). Members, guests and friends do need to register online. Whilst it will be a shorter event than normal we will still celebrate our club achievements, acknowledge the work and service of members and Foundation. We will look forward to the year ahead, with Mark as our new President, and we will work hard to include some lighter zoom moments of fun and entertainment during the evening.
The Board will meet on Monday night on zoom and the agenda will include...…..
- Setting the Membership fees for 2020/2021 - the aim of the Club is to keep any increase in membership fees to a minimum and ensure that cost is not a barrier for members.
- Review of the Clubs Strategic Plan - Warwick Cavell, President of Melbourne Central Rotary Club will facilitate a review and update of our strategic plan and will be our guest on June 9th.
- Combined Board meeting in June - the outgoing and incoming directors for 2020/2021 will meet in June (probably on zoom) to get a feel for the business end of Rotary.
- Rotary 100 project - update
- Financial report to end April 2020.
- Draft budget 2020/2021.
- Farmers Market - update.
- Avenues of service - reports.
Enjoy your week and I look forward to seeing you on zoom on Tuesday evening 12 May 2020.
We should have some idea by then about which COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted in Victoria first and what the timing will look like.
Take care.
Thelma
