Another busy week in Rotary. The Sumba Eye Program event at Grace Park was a resounding success. A capacity crowd of about 150 people were wined and dined and were educated about the program. There were loud auctions and silent auctions and raffles. Great prizes were bid for and people walked away with many bargains. While our Treasurer Thelma is still counting the returns it seems that we have greatly exceeded expectations. Well done to everyone involved.

We still have two meetings to go this year. On 26 November, Jenny De Vos will be speaking as “Member behind the Badge". These talks are not to be missed. Also, if all goes to plan, Ray Isaac will be inducted into membership. On 17 December we are having our Christmas function. Please book as this will be a terrific night of fun and fellowship.
Finally, this is the last Bulletin to be produced by Chris Raw. Chris has done an amazing job for a long time making me and other presidents look good. Thank You Chris for your amazing efforts.
