Dear Members,

Winter seems to have hit with a vengeance.  It must be difficult for those of you who would, normally at this time of the year be basking in the sunshine state, Europe or other exotic and warm places.

Fortunately, we have a Rotary program to keep you warm and excited.....

Board meeting - Monday 8 June 2020 8 pm on zoom
This will be a special Board meeting with incoming directors (year 2020/2021) and outgoing directors (year 2019/2020).   There are a lot of changes on the Board for the year ahead and we want to work together to ensure a smooth transition.   Agenda items will include the budget (yes, we can develop one now that the Farmer's Market is once again open for business), updates and progress reports on activities.

Review of the strategic plan 2017-2020 - 9 June 2020 7.15 for a 7.30 pm start on zoom
Warwick Cavell will be our guest presenter at our regular meeting on Tuesday.  Warwick is a Rotarian and a business consultant and he will guide us gently through the process.   On Tuesday we will report back on what we said we would do and whether we achieved it.   We will also have open discussions on COVID-19 and how it has impacted our club meetings.   In particular, we want to know what you have learned from the experience that you think we could use to our advantage as a club, as we start thinking about the new normal.

Changeover 16 June 2020 - 7.15 for a 7.30 pm start on zoom
No need to go out into the cold.  Fire up the computer and join us on zoom.  Be sure to RSVP to Richard so that you receive the meeting link.  Richard Blakeman (MC), President Elect Mark and myself went through a rehearsal today and I feel sure you will enjoy the evening.  Changeover is one of the most important Rotary events on the calendar.  It's an opportunity to acknowledge members, celebrate achievements and hand on the chain of office to the new President.   I do hope you will join us.

Stay warm and take care,

President Thelma
