Your attendance and support for our club ZOOM meetings has been great. Apart from a few technical glitches here and there we have been able to stay connected, share club news and have our guest speaker presentations. We are looking at ways to increase your participation in the meetings and if you have any suggestions please email me on thelma.hutchison@gmail.com
A new idea I would like to promote as a regular feature is sharing your recommendations on books, Netflix or Foxtel films, TV series, and documentaries. Email me with your recommendations including a short synopsis. To get the ball rolling I have a Netflix recommendation....
"Unorthodox" found on Netflix - a series of 6 one hour episodes. The series is based on the memoir of Deborah Feldman. Feldman was a member of the Satmar Orthodox Jewish community. I note that it's been written up in The Age today.

- Cheryl will lead the first ever Club Zoom Trivia night on 5 May 2020.
- Don Moore and the Rotary 100 Yarra Bank Reserve Playground project group are liaising next week with Benjamin Gilbert on the preliminary design put forward.
- The strategic action group (SAG) comprising President, President Elect, President Nominee and Richard met with Warwick Cavell (facilitator) on zoom last Thursday to discuss how we might best review and update the Club's strategic plan.
- Ian Salek and Rob Winspear are staying in touch with Council about the Farmer's Market.
- The Bread Run continues thanks to the volunteers in the less than 70 age group
