There are so many activities planned for RICON 2023, but what is included in your Conference Registration Fee, and what is additional? Here is an outline of what there is to choose from.
There is an orientation session for first-time Convention attendees, that will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) on Saturday May 27th from 4pm to 5pm.

Included in Your Registration Fee

What additional activities are there?
- When registering for your Convention attendance you will be invited to register for some additional special events. A number are probably only relevant to those with specific interests or Rotary responsibilities, but one event that many Glenferrie Rotarians have already booked is the Imagine What's Next Luncheon on Wednesday May 31st 12:30pm to 2:00pm at the MCEC.
- The Melbourne Host Organising Committee chaired by Mary Barry has also organised a number of fabulous activities for Convention goers that, while additional to your registration fee, are very worthwhile considering. To kick the convention off there is the Host Organising Committee's Welcome Event - Night at the Museum at the Melbourne Museum, a night of culture and featuring Victorian food and wine. The whole museum will be dedicated to this special RICON event. Other activities include a fabulous Streets of Melbourne foodies event at South Wharf, which has been entirely reserved for Convention attendees and local Rotarians and guests. A night at the AFL, a special Melbourne Cup event at Flemington, a golf day and more. Click here to see the full list.
- As if that's not enough, there are also a number of fantastic events planned for Convention delegates, before, during and after the Convention, all of which offer fun and the opportunity to meet new friends. Delegates, Rotarians and friends can choose from a smorgasbord of events, including a lunch cruise on a tall ship on Port Phillip Bay, a day at the Melbourne Zoo, balloon rides, a Yarra Valley Winery tour and more.
