Tree Planting Gardiner's Creek August 1st at 10am.
Our Club has been invited to join this activity by Trevor Phillips, President, Friends of Gardiners Creek. He had planned to reserve some spots for us but because of COVID-19 we are required to register via the following link:
The activity will last for 2 - 3 hours and we will meet at the Basil Street playground, Darling Park, Malvern East 3145.
Bring your own gloves but DO NOT bring tools which are apparently provided by the Stonnington Council who is overseeing the programme. The Friends of Gardiners Creek will attend as planting supervisors and will be wearing green vests. Some members of Rotary Chadstone - East Malvern will also attend. I have registered for the event and look forward to seeing others from the Rotary Club of Glenferrie.
