MUNA stands for Model United Nations Assembly, which simulates the workings of the UN Assembly, by having teams of two senior students from each of a number of schools, represent a particular UN country. Here they debate resolutions on matters of world political and social concern. It is a Rotary International program and enthusiastically supported by the United Nations.
We had two students from Sacre Couer attend the competition on the weekend 18th & 19th of May. They represented New Zealand and debated resolutions that impact that country. They also had to wear clothes common to New Zealand.
