I first saw this most unusual rose over ten years ago when working on a Rotary Open Garden Day. My posting was in Malvern and this rose was in the front garden.I made a mental note to get one and belying the fate of most of my mental notes, it stuck, and I bought one.
It struggled and did not survive transplanting when we downsized.

I acquired another, but it was battling too, so I moved it to a bare patch of garden, failing to note it was right in front of the air con evaporator, and would be blasted with hot air all summer!
Despite my actions, it has survived, and this year had a really great bloom - a real “cappuccino” rose.
