Kathryn and I tuned in last Friday evening to watch this movie, Homeland Story, produced with the assistance of The Rotary Club of Melbourne. I have to be honest that I was probably most motivated by a desire to support the excellent Rotary End Trachoma project than to see the movie. What I experienced, however, was a very well made movie, a moving story of the struggles of one village in Arnhem Land, the story of the dedication of an extraordinary Australian, Neville White, and the opportunity to see the world briefly through the eyes of our original Australians and to get just a glimpse of understanding.
This documentary will be shown again this coming Friday evening, August 21st, via Zoom. Cost is $10 and you can book via this link: Bookings at: https://www.trybooking.com/BJRSD
You really must see this remarkable movie. It will move you and it will inspire you. - Richard
