October is 4 days in and our Glenferrie Grinners are out there walking already. Our team is a mixture of Glenferrie Members and friends of members. We had almost reached our "conservative" goal of $1,500 by the beginning of October, so let's just raise the bar ...
Our red tees should be ready by mid-week - there was a small delay in printing as some late orders came in from a neighbouring club. As soon as they are ready - they will be personally delivered (at a safe distance) or click and collect by arrangement! However, even if you do NOT have a tee shirt, there is still plenty of time to register to Walk. Or perhaps you could pass on the link to those friends who may wish to support this cause. Yes, our Club Secretary is still in the lead so we encourage your friends to sponsor another Glenferrie Grinner to beat him!!!AND if you do have a red tee, make sure you are wearing it pounding the pavements of your permitted 5km, going to the gym (when you can) or essential shopping to your IGA. Two sponsorships resulted from today with just the one tee shirt in the Pisterman family. No we were NOT wearing it at the same time ...
