I am in great need of support to assist the Foresight Sumba Eye Program’s fund raiser on November 22nd. As you are aware it is one of RC Glenferrie and Kew’s major International Projects and has brought huge kudos to both clubs.
At Grace Park, 2 Hilda Crescent, Hawthorn, I have paid the deposit for this venue and organised a musical background (Piano background - so not overly noisy). There is room for 150 seats on tables of 10.
BUT I need your assistance in making the night a success. The main reason is to promote the eye program in Sumba.

Get it "out there” as worthwhile alternative to the junk sent out to our letterboxes!In particular, I will rely on the generosity of spirit that flows through the RC Glenferrie and Kew ’s veins in order to make this night work.
Foresight, Peter Stewart and I will be involved with the presentations, but I endeavour to note that there will be a Raffle, Loud Auction and Silent auction.
I have enlisted Jonathan Shepherd (RC Kew) to be auctioneer. (Thanks Jonathan)
I need volunteers to collect and donate
1. Loud auction2. Silent auction
3. Flyers - I hope Cheryl will be involved here.
4. Seating arrangements and maybe ushers/greet.
5. Treasurer - I hope Thelma will be involved here.
I plan to use Humanitix for bookings so no cash on the day - this will also help with bookings and diet preferences.
The plan is formulating as I go. If anyone can promote this more - great.
I need a committee to suggest fees and other advice.
