Some really great Rotary and  Community news . The Boroondara Farmers’ Market returned on a sunny Saturday morning May 30th to Patterson Reserve at the corner of Auburn and Toorak Roads from 8:00am until 12:30pm.
This was after a temporary closure under the City of Boroondara's guidelines. The Market is held on every third Saturday in a month and on a fifth Saturday when that occurs and  that 'Day' was last Saturday.  There were 50 stalls of fresh produce including beef, fruit and vegetables, bread, biscuits, cakes, pastries, honey, spreads, panforte, fish and oysters. There was good food to take away to enjoy off-site.

Covid -19 Safety Practices were well in place and will remain so during the current situation including the important social distancing and hand sanitizing.   However what could be better than shopping in an open air environment.  Many Patrons and Stallholders were vocal in their support for the Market's return and whilst the detailed results are to come in,  Patterson Reserve looked comparatively busy all morning.

The Boroondara Farmers’ Market is a joint venture of the City of Boroondara and the Rotary Club of Glenferrie. Monies raised go to charity.

We hope to see a big crowd of Rotarians and the general public there for next  month's regular Boroondara Farmers' Market on June 20th.
