The club has finished a challenging and eventful 2021 on a high note, literally, with Christmas carols at the Gala Christmas Party on Tuesday December 21st.

In a year of frequent interruptions due to Covid, the Rotary Club of Glenferrie chalked up some creditable accomplishments: the widespread adoption of new technologies for meetings, club administration and communication, increased fundraising through an expanded Boroondara Farmers Market, and significant membership growth. New projects were established, including the Rotary Overseas Recycled Playgrounds Program (RORP) and participation in RIMERN - the Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Network. The club's Rotary 100 project at Yarra Bank Reserve was widely applauded, and a revitalised Youth Committee won a District Foundation Grant to provide a Year11-12 Scholarship

So it was a high note indeed that finished this Rotary year, although the name of the Rotarian heard singing We're a Happy Team at Hawthorn during 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing' has been referred to Santa.

Happy Christmas everyone and a safe, healthy and fulfilling new year!
