Three years ago the members of the Rotary Club of Glenferrie dedicated two extended meetings and many hours of extra work to the development of a comprehensive and detailed Three Year Plan, and called it Setting the Course. The club identified a number of key strategic objectives, primary among which was member recruitment.
The Strategic Action Group (SAG), comprising the Immediate Past President, the current President and the President Elect, was formed as an outcome of that plan to ensure continuity of strategy over the three years of the Plan. Once elected, the President Elect Nominee replaces the Immediate Past President. The current SAG, comprising President Thelma, President Elect Mark and President Elect Nominee Teresa met recently with professional corporate planner Warwick Cavell, who is also the current President of the Rotary Club of Melbourne Central to discuss arrangements for a review and refreshment of the Plan, to cover the next three years, 2020-2023.
