The market has prospered over the 20 years having raised $1.8 million in funds for charity. Over the years the market has had up to 74 Stallholders and 2,200 patrons in attendance. Thank you, Geoff, for an interesting “wander down memory lane” concerning the markets beginnings, early operations, and its success.

The major recipient of the funds from the Farmers Market is the Education Chances Foundation. Education Chances Foundation was represented on the night by Helen Worladge – Program Manager and Sue Felton Philanthropy and Partnerships. Helen and Sue outlined the background of Chances along with the Scholarship Programs, and the need for fundraising to continue their work in providing scholarships to be enabled.
