At our March 25th club meeting, we were privileged to hear from Trevor Moyle, an inspiring humanitarian and long-time friend of Nepal, who spoke about his work with two impactful organisations: the Community Leadership Nepal Foundation and the Smile-High Foundation.

Trevor Moyle (second from left), Rotary Club of Moreland, addressed the club meeting March 25th, regarding his more than twenty years work in Nepal
Trevor, who is co-founder and chair of both foundations, shared insights into the grassroots development work being carried out in Nepal, focusing on empowering local communities and supporting education, health, and leadership initiatives.
Through powerful stories and photographs, Trevor highlighted how these organisations have helped improve lives in remote and underserved areas, often with very limited resources.

The Community Leadership Nepal Foundation is dedicated to nurturing strong, ethical local leaders who can drive positive change within their own communities. Meanwhile, the Smile-High Foundation works to bring dental and medical care to people in Nepal’s most isolated villages, often by mobilising volunteer teams and local partnerships.

Trevor’s passion for Nepal and his dedication to long-term, sustainable development were clear throughout his presentation. His talk was a strong reminder of the transformative power of service, and how much of a difference committed individuals and grassroots efforts can make.

Our sincere thanks to Trevor for sharing his time, experience, and vision with us. It was both moving and motivating to hear how the spirit of Rotary is alive and well in the mountains of Nepal.
