The weather on Saturday morning was perfect. Starting at 6:00am the temperature was around 11.5°c and worked its way up to just over 20°c during a very sunny morning. Of the four ‘First Saturday’ of the month Markets we have had, commencing in February, this was best weather we have experienced, and it matters, as was reflected in the turnout. I will be chasing up two Stallholders who were ‘No Shows’ to find out their reasons for not showing up. I will also be contacting Schulz Organic Dairy  who turned up without notifying us or pre-paying as we now require.
We thank the following Rotary and other Volunteers who make this Market happen month in month out.  Past President Robert Winspear for placing Stallholders on the Sites.  Thank you, Wayne Worladge, for captaining both the Early and Late Shifts this week. Your team on the Early Shift of Rotarians Teresa Liu and Simon Messenger are thanked.  Additionally there were two special volunteers who we wish to thank, a very keen Caroline Larwood, a potential new Member and Tom Harris the latter from Accru Financial Services based in Hawthorn East.  We similarly thank the Team on the Late Shift of Glenferrie Rotarians Christine Raw, Rod Smith, Canterbury Rotarian Hans Carlborg and Volunteer Jad Nawaseri.  The personal time you all gave up this last weekend to assist in raising charitable funds is very much appreciated.  Michael Hills thank you for liaising with Accru (friends of Rotary) to garner extra assistance.

We continue to appreciate Past President Rob’s and Miffy Hogan’s work on the Roster, and Boroondara Farmers Market Treasurer and Past President John Suriano’s invoicing and constant payment follow-up.
