The Boroondara Farmers Market, a joint venture of our Rotary Club and the City of Boroondara, has been running for 20 years in March 2023. We plan to celebrate this significant achievement at the Market on Saturday 18 March 2023.
The Farmer’s Market Committee, in conjunction with the Council have arranged some fantastic entertainment that will delight children, parents and friends. And of course, our stallholders will have an abundance of fresh local produce for sale.
To ensure the success of the celebrations we need some Rotarians to help us on the day and to volunteer some time to assist in the lead up to the event. Specifically, we are looking for the following:
- 2 Volunteers to run the BBQ for stallholders, Club Members and guests from 12.30 pm until 1.30 pm.
- Volunteers to letterbox drop our flyers in the week leading up to the celebrations on 18 March 2023.
If you can assist, even for a short time, please email thelma.hutchison@gmail.com and I will coordinate the distribution of flyers to ensure we maximise our publicity of the event.
