Last Tuesday evening, our Club celebrated its 50th annual CHANGEOVER. It was a very successful evening, thanks to the many Rotarians in the club who were responsible for the planning and organization of the event. Everything went smoothly and from the sound of the “buzz” in the room, guests appeared to be enjoying themselves.

I noted that guests who were not Rotarians, would have learned a considerable amount about Rotary, its origins, brief history and how far it has expanded throughout the world through our speeches, slides and videos, proudly demonstrating our club’s programs.
The main event of the evening was the handover of the Presidency from Peter Moore and his Board, to me and my Board. I will endeavour to continue the good work of Peter Moore and his Board to maintain the success of this club.
I look forward to seeing you at our first meeting of the Rotary year on the 8th of July.
