The Fathering Project

Terry McAleenan is the Partnerships Manager for The Fathering Project in Victoria.  He started a Dads Group at his daughters’ primary school in 2012 after being inspired by a talk given by The Fathering Project. Terry is passionate about every school and workplace having an active dads program, so that no child misses out on having an engaged father or father figure in their lives. The Fathering Project aims to improve child development outcomes by inspiring and equipping fathers and father figures to effectively engage with their kids. Their vision is for every child in Australia to have an effective father figure.
