Oxana celebrated her first full year in Rotary on November 16th, 2022. About time for a Member Behind the Badge address? Wish granted. Always much enjoyed, the Member Behind the Badge address is a great way to get to know a fellow Rotarian just a little better, and getting to know each other a little better is how we strengthen Rotary and our Rotary relationships. Oxana's story is an especially interesting one. Come along and hear why at our next club meeting on March 21st. 

The Annual Parkinson's Walk raises funds for Parkinson's Victoria. This year Rotary Glenferrie will staff the food stall, selling sandwiches and drinks to hungry walkers and volunteers. Always loads of fun.

BBQ on the Terrace at Kooyong

The session will start at 9.30am and finish by 2pm with lunch provided as an optional extra. This event is a training session to prepare all of us for the year ahead.

Rotary Glenferrie welcomes Rotary Global Grants Scholar Hikaro Sato, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Mito, Japan, and hosted by the Rotary Club of Glenferrie. Hikaro is studying for a Masters Degree in Public Health at the Australian Catholic University. Her study in this field relates to one of the Rotary Foundation’s Areas of Focus: Disease Prevention and Treatment, which seeks to limit the spread of communicable diseases, and reduces the incidence and effect of diseases and strengthens the health care system.

Come along and meet Hikaru, hear about her studies in this important field, and learn a little about her life in Japan and the power of the Rotary Foundation's Global Scholarship Program.
